Sean P. O’Sullivan, Esq, is an attorney admitted to practice law before the Courts of the State of NY, as well as the US District Courts for the Southern District of NY and Eastern District of NY. Sean is the President and Sole Member of Law Office of Sean P. O’Sullivan, PLLC, a law firm located in the New Dorp Section of Staten Island. The firm was established in February 2002. The firm is a general practice firm with a high concentration on real estate and real estate related matters (landlord tenant, foreclosure issues), and wills, estates and trusts.
About Sean
Sean has also been involved in the title abstract business since August 2002, having served as a member and Vice President of Excelsior Abstract Services and member and Vice President of Grant Island Abstract prior to becoming the majority member and President of Plaza Island Abstract in October 2007.
Sean is active in the community. He has been a Kiwanian for over 20 years, having been a member of the South Shore (SI) Club and a member of the Staten Island Kiwanis Club, having served as President of both clubs, including Distinguished Past President of the South Shore (SI) Club. Sean recently served as the Lt. Governor of the Metropolitan Division of the NY District where he represented the 8 clubs (now 9 clubs) of the division on the NY District Board. He was recognized by Kiwanis International as a Distinguished Lt. Governor. He served as the 2014-15 NY District Kiwanis Parliamentarian, Chairperson of the NY District Kiwanis Bylaws Committee and member of the Eliminate Committee (Project Eliminate is the Kiwanis International worldwide service project to raise $110 Million to eliminate Maternal and NeoNatal Tetanus worldwide) and also served as Chair of the NY District Kiwanis Policies Committee for three years and served as a member of the District Finance Committee for 2 years. He also served 1 year on the Board of the NY District Kiwanis Foundation, as the representative of the 2011-2012 District Board. Sean also served 2 years as Director of the Staten Island Kiwanis Charitable Foundation. Sean is currently a charter member and charter Treasurer of the All Island Kiwanis Club and a Director and Treasurer of the All Island Kiwanis Charitable Foundation, Inc.
Sean has received the George F. Hixson Fellowship, Tablet of Honor, the Walter Zeller Fellowship and Walter Zeller Presidential Fellowship of the Kiwanis International Foundation. Sean is also a member of Carthage Pullman Society of the Kiwanis International Foundation. She has also received the KPTC Fellowship of the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center Foundation and the Brittany Fellowship and Emerald Brittany Fellowship of the Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease Foundation.
Sean served as a member of the Board of Directors of the NYS Chapter of the March of Dimes Staten Island Division from March 2008 thru March 2016. Sean became Chairperson of the SI Division on January 1, 2015 (The first new Chair in over 17 years). He served for 1 year as the Vice Chair and 4 years as the Treasurer. Sean also served on the NYS Chapter Finance Committee. Sean has been a volunteer with the March of Dimes since he was a student in high school having served on most of its event committees. He was also a staff member of the Staten Island Division.
Sean is a founding Director and Treasurer of the NY District Circle K Alumni Foundation, Inc., an organization of former members of Circle K (the Kiwanis college program) organized to support Circle K and its members and founding Director and Treasurer of the Angels Circle Charitable Foundation, Inc., an organization founded to maintain a memorial park in honor of the Staten Islanders who died on 9-11.
Sean is a past board member of the LaPiedra Family Firefighters Fund. He also served on the Community School District 31 Board from 1999-2002 where he was elected to serve as Secretary-Treasurer
Sean graduate from Brooklyn Law School with a JD in 2000, Fordham University with a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1995, and New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1993.
Sean is currently a member of the Richmond County Bar Association, and the NYS Bar Association, and a past member of the Irish American Bar Association. Sean is a member of the Alumni Associations of Brooklyn Law School, New York University, and Staten Island Academy.
Sean is a life long resident of Staten Island.
